Questions
Before you order.
Still unsure? Call (816) 532-8451, Mon to Fri, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m..
What do you need from me to program my package?
Your callsign, your DMR ID, and your BrandMeister and TGIF passwords. There are boxes for these on the product page. If you do not have them yet, order anyway and email them to us when you do.
How long until it ships?
Once we have your information we program your package and send it out. Typical turnaround is one week or less, unless a product is backordered. If anything in your details needs fixing, we contact you.
Will my local repeaters be programmed?
No. We cannot test and verify your local repeaters from our location. The included video training shows you how to add and test them.
I am new. Is this too hard for me?
This is exactly who Plug and Play is for. We have helped hams from 15 to 95 get on the air, and you also get the full 150-lesson course so you can customize and master DMR at your own pace.
Can I pay over time?
Yes. No-interest split payment options are available at checkout.
What if it does not work for me?
All Plug and Play systems come with a 30-day return policy, and our team is here to help if you hit a setup issue.
Do I need a license?
Yes. You need an amateur radio license to get a DMR ID. Our blog walks through getting your ham radio license in four steps.
